Would like to spend a few minutes talking about the importance of entrepreneurism and business ownership in a free society.

When others talk about veterans who pursue entrepreneurial or business goals after their active duty, most will talk about the tactical skills that transfer. Being goal driven. Taking calculated risked. Planning and executing against a plan. Knowing that plan is only good until the first shot is fired.

While those things are necessary, they are not sufficient. Being an entrepreneur or business owner needs to be something more than that.

For example, consider the idea of taking calculated risks. If you actually calculated the risk of being an entrepreneur, no one would every do it.
